Behind the Scenes: Producing TECO-NY’s 2026 GCTF Seminar
Digital Art Video was proud to once again provide full audiovisual production and livestream support for TECO-NY’s annual Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) Seminar on the margins of the 2026 UN High-Level Political Forum. This year’s event was held at Luma Studios, located at 307 West 38th Street in New York City.
The program brought together a distinguished international group of keynote speakers, panelists, professionals, and invited guests representing the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Taiwan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan. Their diverse perspectives brought valuable insight to the discussion and reflected a strong spirit of international cooperation and shared commitment to sustainable development, infrastructure, technology, energy, and global partnerships. The event also included PowerPoint presentations, multimedia playback, audience engagement, and a live online broadcast.
Complete Hybrid Event Production
Our team provided a complete multi-camera production system, including professional cameras, live video switching, presentation playback, audio reinforcement, and livestreaming to TECO-NY’s YouTube channel.
Throughout the seminar, our production team coordinated multiple camera angles to capture the speakers, panel discussions, audience reactions, and presentation content. The live program was switched in real time, allowing both the in-person audience and online viewers to follow the discussion clearly.
Audio was especially important for this event. We provided microphones and sound support for the three keynote speakers and the four panelists, along with clear audio for presentation videos, computer playback, and the venue’s sound system. Every speaker needed to be heard clearly both inside the room and on the livestream.
Responding to a Last-Minute Venue Change
This year’s production presented an unexpected challenge. The venue originally selected for the seminar had to close because of structural concerns involving a neighboring building. With the event quickly approaching, TECO-NY needed to secure a new location nearby and reorganize many of the production details at the last minute.
Our responsibility went far beyond delivering equipment and assigning a crew.
At Digital Art Video, we see ourselves as producers and problem solvers, not simply audiovisual vendors. We worked closely with the client to evaluate the new venue, adjust the technical plan, reorganize the production layout, and make sure the event could proceed without creating additional stress for the organizers.
Our team adapted the camera positions, control area, audio system, presentation workflow, and livestream setup to fit the new space. We also coordinated closely with the client before the event so that everyone understood the revised production plan.
What’s Next?
Despite the unexpected venue change, the seminar proceeded smoothly and professionally. The speakers were clearly seen and heard, the presentations played correctly, and the livestream was successfully delivered to TECO-NY’s online audience.
Most importantly, the client, speakers, and guests were very pleased with the final result.
Producing a successful live event is not only about cameras, microphones, and equipment. It is about planning carefully, responding calmly when challenges arise, and creating a dependable experience for the client and audience.
